Don't Be Condemned To A Life Of Servitude

by Davis L Dupye Jr

Condemned To A Life Of ServitudeI woke up this morning thinking about all the people condemned to a life of servitude, and thought to myself, that’s not how anyone should live. I really, really feel sorry for those individuals who made bad decisions in their life, and now they are paying an unmeasurable price for their action(condemned to a life of servitude). But the reality of the situation is that most of these people choose this way of living for themselves.

But why in the world would someone choose to be condemned to a life of servitude. It just doesn’t make any sense.

Let’s Explore Why Someone Would Choose To Be Condemned To A Life Of Servitude

Of no fault of their own, as children, these individuals weren’t receiving the proper guidance, therefore, they were unable to make the right decisions in their lives. The truth of the matter is, most of us weren’t given the proper guidance, but some how, something clicked in our minds that changed our course of direction. Actually, we’re all just one decision away from being condemned to a life of servitude, so we should not cast judgement, but we should try to help the individuals who want to be helped.

No person in their right mind would rationally choose to be condemned to a life of servitude, however, this choice isn’t rational or even a choice.  From birth we were bombarded with information that brainwashed us into believing and thinking in a certain way. However, because the world is dynamic and ever-changing, the information that has plagued the minds of people is irrelevant, but it is still being passed on to generations and generations of people to this very day. So, people make the decision to be condemned to a life of servitude without even knowing their doing so.

So, Exactly What Is Being Condemned To A Life Of Servitude?

Being Condemned To A Life Of Servitude is not what you’re thinking. I’m not talking about being locked up behind bars or in prison for committing some criminal act, and having to perform cheap labor for the rest of your life as a condition of your court sentencing. But the phrase Condemned To A Life Of Servitude refers to the act of working until you’re of retirement age. Working from the time of your early to mid twenties until your 65, that’s what I mean when I say condemned to a life of servitude.

As I mentioned before, most people were brainwashed into believing this was and still is the best way to go about living your life. Think about this, if you start working around the age of 24, and you continue on with the path and plan that society has laid out for you, you will have given your employer 41 years of your life before you are able to retire. That’s a long time, and for what? A 401k plan and half of your benefits (None of your benefits if you retire from a private company).

You made the committment to your employer to work for him/her for 41 long years, working at least a minimum of 85,000+ hours, working overtime, working on holidays, etc. just to be laid off before you are able to collect your full retirement benefits. You thinking, no way this is going to happen to me, my employer loves me, they can’t operate without me, I’ve been to loyal to them for that to happen. You’re sadly mistaken if you think this couldn’t or wouldn’t happen to you. This ordeal has devastated countless of people just like you over and over and over every year. So why are you immune to this. You’re not.

The Good Thing Is You Do Not Have To Be Condemned To A Life Of Servitude

Being condemned to a life of servitude is a choice. But this is a choice you do not have to make. Breaking The Chains Of ServitudeThere are options available for you, but first you have to free your mind from bondage. Begin to think like an employer instead of an employee. In my opinion, owning your own business is a sure way you won’t be condemned to a life of servitude. However, owning your own business can be an even bigger headache. Owning the right kind of business, is the key to success in these hard economic times. There’s a book called “The Business Of The 21st Century” by Robert T Kiyosaki that explains the type of business you should get involved in during rough patch of financial uncertainty. This book is going to explain why Network Marketing is the future of business.
